How Many Hours of Corporate Event Photography Do You Need?
Short answer
Most short corporate events, such as a reception, product launch or evening program, are well covered by half-day event photography. Conferences with multiple sessions, breakouts and a networking day generally need full-day coverage.
Start with the agenda
List the moments you must capture, like the keynote, awards, sponsor moments and group photos, then note when each occurs. If they cluster in a few hours, half-day coverage is usually enough.
Half-day versus full-day
- Half-day coverage: $600, suited to receptions, launches and short programs.
- Full-day coverage: $1,100, suited to conferences, multi-session events and offsites.
Factors that add time
Setup and arrival time, posed group photos, several rooms and large guest counts all add time. If you want video recap footage, plan for that as well.
