Hi, I’m Robert Calderon

Trestles Media is one team for photography and video, so you never have to coordinate multiple vendors.

I’m Robert Calderon, the founder, and I’m usually the person behind the camera. I pair a photographer’s eye with a business mindset: an MBA and a background as a project manager mean every shoot starts with a clear plan, clear communication and no surprises.

My experience spans live events, marathons and Ironman races, where there is one chance to capture the moment. I bring that same focus to corporate teams, brands and families across Orange County. I’m based in Irvine, and when I’m not working you’ll find me running, cycling or hiking.

My goal is always to capture the most honest and sincere version of you, so you feel confident in the work and proud to display it.

Our story

Rooted in the coast

Trestles Media is a full-service photography and videography studio shaped by the Orange County coastline.

The work has followed the coast: the cliffs and coves of Laguna Beach, Newport Harbor, youth fields and surf breaks, offices in Irvine and the people who work, celebrate and compete in all of them.

Trestles Media brings professional camera systems, studio lighting and broadcast-quality audio to every project, and drone work is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot. The aim is simple: images and video that make people and places look the way they feel.

Because photography and video come from the same team, clients can book headshots, events, brand film and social content together and get a consistent look across all of it.

Yes to both. Corporate event coverage starts at $600 for a half day, and executive headshots are $250.

Does Trestles Media do real estate photography?

Yes. Packages start at $175 and include options for drone, video, twilight and full luxury production.
